Note: Given the age of participants, enrolment in WetFeet is HST exempt. However, enrolment in the below sessions is subject to an additional Sail Nova Scotia annual fee that we remit on your behalf to Sail Nova Scotia. HOW REGISTRATION IN OUR KEELBOATING PROGRAM WORKS: Before getting on the water, participants in our Adult & Family program must first enrol in the Term's program and complete their on-land introductory session. Enrolment and the introductory session includes an overview of basic sailing theory, wind direction, and provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions and learn from our instructors in a classroom setting.
Each Term has a batch of dates for completing this introductory session. Once introductory training is complete, participants can then participate in up to nine (9) on-water sessions throughout the Term's calendar of dates (as set out below). On-water sessions are registered and paid for separately from the introductory session and enrolment. All sessions must be completed within the same Term (June 9 - July 27). Participation in sessions in another Term (e.g., Term 2) requires separate enrolment in that term.
SECURE YOUR PREFERRED DATES NOW: Participants are strongly encouraged to select their introductory session and all nine on-water dates throughout the Term at the time of registration. While it is possible to register and pay for on-water sessions throughout the Term, availability is limited. We cannot guarantee that your desired sessions will available if you decide to wait before registering for all of your 9 on-water sessions.
OPTIONAL CERTIFICATION: Participants in our Adult & Family Program who wish to receive CANSail Start Keelboating certification must select and pay for this separately (see the bottom of this registration page). The decision to be evaluated and certified in accordance with CANSail's Start Keelboating program does not need to be made at the time of registration. It can be made after consultation with our instructors.
